Ive been asked several times so I thought I'd write about it here.
I have tried and conquered all three and achieved great bod when I kept to my routine. The first one I conquered was the stationary bike. The type which allows you to be on standing position (see image) instead of sitting down. This is best compared to all other types of bikes because with this one has the option to include the arms in the workout. When You include the arm, do twist some for every movement in order to work out those muscles on the hip or if you dont have muscles there yet then do so for the love handles to be worked "OUT!" 30minutes daily will do the trick.
My next finds in no order since they were both in the same gym that I went to--were the treadmill and the stepper.
I conquered the treadmill first because I finally figured out the remedy for the hindrance I experienced everytime I ran. I used to feel pain on my trapezius muscles which are in the wing-like part of our back. The solution is to run with the hands relaxed and lower than your hip. This is its most relaxed position so the back wot get stressed. Afterwards treadmill became a bore because the challenge was G O N E. still okay for cardio though. But then again swimming does it for me too without the bore.u
Next but not last is the magic stepper. The one I like is by Life Fitness because they had these different programs you can choose from, my personal favorite was the thigh toner and the next is glute sculptor. Its better than having to choose the levels manually because there is that sense of challenge and knowing you were able to complete the workout which professionals for sure have programmed into the machine.
I saw the most effect with the stepper, always a challenge never a bore. ;)

Am i getting fat?
I have been been receiving remarks lately that I have gotten fat.. That my abdomen is now showing...
Is it because I have been feeling so cozy at our new home and I've so settled that my body did as well. See my photo. Darn I have to hit the gym!!!
But how to with my current work schedule of 3pm - 12 mn. I have to find a good itinerary that will not compromise my health!
God bless me!

MakeUp Beginner at 27?
Hello again!!!
It has been so long since I posted! I have been very busy.
So the question what is the new thing that the choosy girl is into?
It's all in the title!!
Recently I've been starting to incorporate aesthetics in my life. I've been so functional, straightforward girl all my life (something to do with being raised with four brothers I suppose?) that I was never fascinated by accessories nor beautification stuff. I always thought clothes is all that matters, it's the only thing needed by anyone, I mean with regard closet content.
And I also always thought that intelligence was more important than beauty so I was always striving to learn something new. My preference was watching Discovery Channel, National Geographic, over mushy feel good movies. My motto was if there is no knowledge to be picked from it what is the point of sparing it your time?
Then came Gossip Girl. The city lights. Blair with the perfect hair and childish facial expressions. The penthouses, one with a painting of PRADA on the entrance. It is clearly all about FASHION. Sure the intellectual banter between the characters are just so obviously scripted exchanging so fast I sometimes miss some of them. But it doesnt matter I would watch every episode again for closer look at their outfits.
Is the perfection really possible??
I wanted to test myself.
So I started building my wardrobe, and my accessories, and my home workout aides. But of course, in order to have a beautiful painting one must have the perfect canvas!
And now, I am moving to a new adventure. MAKE-UP
I've done the bit of shopping I allow myself as a beginner today. I went at Tang's, checked out Sephora at Ion, but the brushes there were so expensive. It seems brushes are important contributors to a flawless look you see. MAC at Tang's were selling a set of four brushes (stippling brush, which is the one I like) with concealer brush, eyeshadow brush and lip brush for SGD 110. It still seems so steep for me. So I settled for the pencil purchase at the beauty outlet. A good thing too that I was able to contain myself because lo and behold what I found at Choa Chu Kang BHG outlet!!
Stippling Brush for 17.90
Angled Blush Brush for 12.90
Concealer Brush for 9.90
Powder Puffs for 5
Beauty Blender (2 pcs) for 39.90
I threw in a (34) blush by Bourjois for 20.90 in order to get the goodie bag from BHG.
Oh what a day!!!
I am so excited to start this journey where beauty meets the geek.
XOXO
